It's nice, is not the best beach, though, but I get the sun and warm water.
You should look for Cap d'Agde is a little bigger and it is a port of Nice. Make sure you remember to attend to Montpellier.

Yes, I've been there and it's beautiful. It's a really interesting place, but a resort for families and young people. Therefore, it may be desirable, but it depends on what you are looking for!
So if you are an authentic French, go to Sete (pronounced port) fine ensemble, visit Frontignan (home of the delicious drink with the same name, "wine") or in cities and towns within the atmosphere and apricots or peaches from the rows of large trees, the same day, local farmers markets.
